What Is a VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) System?
VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) is a commercial air conditioning system developed by Daikin in 1982. This system allows a single outdoor unit to serve many indoor units simultaneously, with individual temperature control for each room.
Unlike conventional central air conditioning that cools an entire building uniformly, Daikin VRV precisely controls the refrigerant volume to each room as needed, saving 30% or more in energy.
A single Daikin VRV outdoor unit can connect up to 64 indoor units of various types (cassette, ducted, wall-mounted, floor-standing) with piping lengths of up to 1,000 meters.

2. Heat Recovery- Simultaneous Cooling & Heating
The VRV Heat Recovery system can cool and heat different rooms at the same time. Waste heat from cooling one room is redirected to heat another, so no energy goes to waste.
