DAIKIN Indonesia’s continued commitment to enhancing technician competencies has delivered remarkable results. At the 5th ASE-OCE Service Skills Competition, held in Malaysia on October 21–23, two technicians representing DAIKIN Indonesia emerged as winners in the competition, which brought together top technicians from across the ASEAN and Oceania regions.
What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that both DAIKIN Indonesia representatives secured positions in the Overall category, ranking second and third, respectively. This category recognizes participants based on their combined scores across all four skill assessments.
The 5th ASE-OCE Service Skills Competition brought together 19 participants representing nine countries across DAIKIN’s ASEAN and Oceania affiliates. The competition holds particular significance as it features top-performing technicians who have previously excelled in similar competitions at the national level in their respective countries.
Throughout the competition, participants were assessed across four key skill areas: written knowledge assessment, data analysis, brazing, and troubleshooting. In addition to recognizing winners in each individual category, the five participants with the highest cumulative scores were awarded in the Overall category. Beyond their overall achievements, DAIKIN Indonesia’s representatives also demonstrated outstanding performance in the written knowledge assessment and data analysis categories.
The success of these two representatives not only demonstrates the ability of DAIKIN Indonesia technicians to compete at the regional level but also reflects the company’s consistent commitment to developing technicians’ knowledge and technical expertise. This ongoing effort is part of DAIKIN’s broader commitment to continuously enhancing service quality standards and delivering the best possible service to its customers.
