Daikin Leads Indonesian AC Industry Transition to R-32 Refrigerant
Daikin Indonesia officially completed the transition of its entire residential AC product line to R-32 refrigerant in Q2 2026, becoming the first AC manufacturer in Indonesia to achieve 100% R-32 adoption across residential products.
Why R-32 Matters
R-32 has a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 675 - significantly lower than R-410A's GWP of 2,088. It also offers 10% higher energy efficiency and requires 30% less refrigerant per unit.
