Jakarta – PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia (DAIKIN) has been honored with the 2025 Paritrana Award by the Employment Social Security Agency (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan). This annual award recognizes local governments, enterprises, and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) that demonstrate a high level of commitment to employment social security protection.
“This high appreciation reflects DAIKIN’s strong commitment to making worker protection an integral part of our sustainable business practices,” stated Budi Mulia, Director of PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia, upon receiving the award.
The award was presented directly by the Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment of the Republic of Indonesia, Muhaimin Iskandar, during a ceremony held at the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan headquarters in the H. Rasuna Said area, Jakarta (May 8, 2026).
As an accolade dedicated to worker protection, the Paritrana Award begins with a competitive process involving various companies and institutions nationwide. During evaluation, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan establishes key indicators for candidates, including program innovation, administrative compliance, expansion of coverage, and care for vulnerable workers.
What elevates the prestige of this award is its tiered competition and selection process. It starts at the provincial level before advancing to the national stage to determine the top recipients.
Elaborating further, Budi Mulia, who represented DAIKIN throughout the selection process, highlighted that DAIKIN’s success in winning the award under the Large and Medium Enterprise category is a tangible demonstration of the company’s support for employment social security protection. This commitment extends beyond internal operations to actively encouraging business partners and showing genuine concern for vulnerable workers.
In practice, DAIKIN’s commitment to worker protection is evident in its strict administrative compliance. Beyond enrolling all employees in BPJS Ketenagakerjaan’s social security coverage, DAIKIN also ensures timely and accurate payment of social security contributions for every staff member.
Expanding its efforts to realize its commitment to employment social security, DAIKIN is also driving awareness among its business partners regarding the importance of social security. This is achieved by mandating subcontractors to register their workforce under the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan social security program. According to Budi Mulia during the selection event, DAIKIN collaborated directly with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan to facilitate this socialization.
Furthermore, Budi Mulia outlined the company’s active role in supporting the SERTAKAN (Empower Your Surrounding Workers) program. Initiated by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, this initiative encourages both corporations and individuals to contribute to providing social security coverage for informal and vulnerable workers in their vicinity, such as domestic helpers, drivers, and small business owners.
Through its participation in the SERTAKAN program, DAIKIN has been recognized as a company making significant contributions to extending social security protection to more vulnerable workers. Throughout 2025 alone, DAIKIN contributed to safeguarding 24,802 vulnerable workers across various sectors.
Reflecting on DAIKIN’s achievement, Budi Mulia shared his hopes that this recognition will not only motivate DAIKIN to further strengthen its commitment to worker welfare but also serve as a broader inspiration. “We hope that the organization of this award will inspire more stakeholders to join hands in improving the welfare of workers across Indonesia,” concluded Budi Mulia.
