Held over two days on July 12–13, 2023, the event brought together all functional leaders within the company. Designed not only to communicate the direction and policies of corporate development but also to serve as a direct discussion platform with DAIKIN’s top management, this major internal gathering underscored the core directions of the company’s transformation.
Key among these is reinforcing its foundation to solidify its position as a complete air conditioning solution provider in Indonesia, catering to both residential needs and commercial building support. This will be achieved through the integration of products, services, and supporting systems. On another front, DAIKIN will expand its business by leveraging its expertise in refrigeration to meet cold supply chain demands, offering a variety of temperature-controlled storage solutions ranging from cold storage facilities to retail showcases.
The same occasion also highlighted progress on the construction of DAIKIN’s new manufacturing facility in Indonesia, which will serve as a production site for residential inverter air conditioners. Meanwhile, DAIKIN continues to expand digitalization across various processes in its business cycle. These efforts aim to deliver faster response times and enhanced convenience for all connected stakeholders, starting from dealers and business partners right down to end consumers.
Beyond business operations, DAIKIN’s commitment to growing as a company that delivers positive social impact was also discussed. This includes support for vocational schools across various regions in Indonesia, facilitated through memorandums of understanding with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia. Additionally, to support carbon neutrality initiatives, DAIKIN will further develop its refrigerant recovery services.
It is hoped that through this meeting, leaders will not only gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s strategic steps but also effectively cascade this momentum and vision to their respective teams.
