PT. Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia (DAIKIN) hosted a delegation of 44 interior design students and their faculty advisor from Universitas Pelita Harapan, Tangerang, at its Jakarta headquarters on January 26. This initiative aligns with the company’s ongoing effort to open its headquarters to educational institutions, allowing them to explore the specialized HVAC solutions developed by the renowned Japanese air conditioning manufacturer.
“As indoor climate control solutions become increasingly integral to modern daily life, we hope this initiative serves as a valuable reference and inspires students across various disciplines, complementing their academic studies,” stated Stella Purnama, Manager of People Management & Development at PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia.
She further explained that the students’ keen interest stems from the distinctive layout of DAIKIN’s headquarters. Situated on the 7th and 8th floors of Menara Astra at 5-6 Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Central Jakarta, the facility was meticulously designed to integrate comprehensive HVAC solutions that prioritize occupant comfort and well-being, all while preserving the space’s overall aesthetic appeal.
Embracing an open-plan concept, the workspace features partition-free zones adorned with strategic greenery. Beyond enhancing employee comfort, this design encourages seamless cross-departmental collaboration. To support these environments, DAIKIN has integrated a diverse range of HVAC equipment, each equipped with cutting-edge innovations tailored for optimal performance.
