Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia introduces a comprehensive air conditioning solution for the IKEA Bandung project. As a leading Japanese manufacturer specializing in climate control products, Daikin continues to deliver clean air and precise temperature regulation across expansive commercial areas. This initiative showcases the most advanced HVAC solutions for high-volume spaces through the Fusion Modulair VPAC unit.
The Fusion Modulair VPAC is a complete HVAC system that leverages a unique integration of VRV and VAV technologies. This unit combines Daikin’s VRV inverter technology with the Fusion series to deliver maximum efficiency and operational convenience in a single, streamlined package. Designed to be highly compact, it is ideally suited for expansive environments such as manufacturing plants, warehouses, retail centers, and supermarkets. Unlike traditional chiller systems, the Fusion Modulair VPAC employs a dry cooling system.
From a design perspective, the unit boasts a compact footprint, significantly reducing installation time. Its operation and maintenance are also more straightforward and cost-effective. The system delivers optimal performance by ensuring uniform cold air distribution throughout the entire space, reaching even the farthest corners. Coupled with inverter technology, it substantially reduces electricity consumption.
Marking its first-ever deployment in Indonesia, this solution was selected by IKEA Bandung to enhance comfort for shoppers and staff. It proved to be a highly effective and strategic choice for the project, featuring 18 carefully installed VPAC units, each rated at a cooling capacity of 350 tons. Each VPAC unit is securely mounted on custom-designed stands, engineered by experienced professionals to integrate seamlessly into a specialized steel frame structure tailored to the equipment’s specific requirements.
For Daikin, the VPAC Fusion Modulair represents an innovative approach and industry best practice, outperforming conventional cooling and air conditioning alternatives. It is particularly optimized to meet the demanding thermal loads of large-volume environments, including factories, warehouses, retail centers, and supermarkets.
