Daikin has delivered its COVID-19 response donation to the Task Force for the Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling. We believe that overcoming COVID-19 in Indonesia will be successful through collaboration and mutual support among communities, corporations, healthcare institutions, and the government.
The Daikin Group’s donation consists of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and N95 masks intended for Indonesian medical professionals who are still in urgent need. The distribution ceremony took place on Monday, May 18, 2020, at the GRAHA building of the National Disaster Management Authority (BNPB), located at Jl. Pramuka No. 38, East Jakarta.
The assistance was received directly by Mr. Doni Monardo, Chairman of the COVID-19 Handling Task Force and Head of BNPB. The donation was presented by Mr. Budi Mulia, Director of Finance and Other Services at PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia, alongside Mr. Giam Tee Kiat, President Director of PT Daikin Applied Solutions Indonesia.
The Daikin Group entities in Indonesia—PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia, PT Daikin Applied Solutions Indonesia, and PT Daikin Manufacturing Indonesia—extend their sincere gratitude to Chairman Doni Monardo and his team for accepting our contribution.
