PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia, a specialist in air conditioning solutions with over a century of global experience, recently held the “DAIKIN Solution Seminar” in Makassar on October 28. Under the theme “Building Future Comfort & Efficiency Solutions,” this seminar represents a strategic initiative by Daikin to introduce innovative and efficient air conditioning solutions that support the adoption of green building concepts, particularly in Eastern Indonesia.
Attendees included engineering professionals, contractors, consultants, and key players in the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) industry. During the seminar, participants gained direct insights into the latest advancements in energy-saving, eco-friendly, and operationally efficient cooling technologies.
“This seminar reflects Daikin’s commitment to collaborating with the government in developing energy-efficient and environmentally friendly building concepts, especially in Eastern Indonesia, which is currently experiencing significant infrastructure and building growth,” stated Tri Aditya Prasetya, Head of Daikin’s Makassar Branch. The event was also officially opened by Mr. Nurhidayat Sukardin, S.T., M.T., Head of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Division at Makassar City’s Office of Housing and Spatial Planning (Disperkim).
He further explained that, alongside presentations on Daikin’s innovative products and technologies, the seminar featured interactive discussion sessions with consultants and Daikin’s expert speakers. Participants were able to engage in direct dialogue regarding various technical solutions and recommendations for air conditioning systems tailored to modern building requirements.
According to him, this aligns perfectly with the seminar’s objectives. Beyond commercial aspects, the event serves as an educational platform for local government agencies and industry stakeholders on the importance of implementing efficient and sustainable air conditioning systems.
In line with this goal, Tri Aditya Prasetya noted that the company is preparing to host similar events in other nearby regions, including Kendari and Palu. “As development continues, knowledge regarding air conditioning systems that support green building concepts must be continuously expanded. This is where Daikin steps in as a bridge to drive this larger initiative,” concluded Tri Aditya Prasetya.
