PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia (DAIKIN) has recently been awarded the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certificate by the Directorate General of Customs and Excise under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. The certificate was presented directly by Askolani, Director General of Customs and Excise, to Budi Mulai, Director of PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia, during an official ceremony held at the Directorate General's headquarters on February 22.
Beyond reinforcing DAIKIN’s reputation as a corporation fully aligned with Indonesian legal and regulatory frameworks, holding this AEO certificate serves as a strategic asset for enhancing the reliability of DAIKIN’s product supply throughout the country.
From a reputational perspective, the AEO program originates from established international agreements on global trade. By consistently meeting and adhering to the regulatory standards mandated by the government through the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, AEO-certified enterprises are formally recognized as trusted business partners who strictly comply with national regulations governing international commerce.
Aligned with this high compliance standard, the Directorate General of Customs and Excise grants various incentives, including expedited procedures, dedicated facilities, and priority services for supply chain management related to export and import operations. For certificate holders, the tangible benefits translate into significant time and cost efficiencies for cross-border logistics. These operational advantages provide DAIKIN with a robust foundation to further guarantee the seamless and uninterrupted delivery of its products across Indonesia.
Given the substantial government incentives tied to the AEO certification, achieving this status is highly selective. In this latest allocation, the government awarded the certificate to only 25 companies, and DAIKIN is proud to be among them, earning both this distinguished recognition and its associated preferential treatment.
