Demonstrating its steadfast commitment to collaborating with the government on human resource development—particularly within the cooling and air conditioning sector—DAIKIN organized the BLK Instructor Upskilling Program. The event took place at the refrigeration workshop of the Vocational Training and Productivity Center (BBPVP) in Bekasi on January 27.
Conducted in a hybrid format, the program welcomed in-person attendance from instructors representing PPKPI, PPKD, BLK Bogor, BLK Karawang, and BLK Provinsi Jawa Barat, while participants from across Indonesia joined virtually. The initiative also received official support from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Department of Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy, with representatives attending the event.
Designed to deepen the technical proficiency of BLK instructors, the curriculum caters not only to aspiring novice technicians but also to refreshing and advancing the expertise of seasoned professionals. Building on the instructors’ prior completion of VRV Service Troubleshooting training from the Ministry of Environment (KLH), DAIKIN introduced highly practical and industry-aligned advanced modules, including Heat Load Calculation and Ducting Design.
Through this program, Daikin aims to enrich the HVAC training framework for BLK instructors, supporting the broader mission of developing a competent, adaptable, and future-ready HVAC workforce capable of navigating the evolving demands of the industry.
