Unity and brotherhood have served as the unifying force for Daikin Indonesia in responding to the pandemic affecting our nation. Alongside its business partners, Daikin Indonesia has initiated a kindness collaboration by distributing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to medical personnel in several cities, including Tangerang, Jakarta, Bekasi, Depok, and Bogor.
For Daikin Indonesia (comprising PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia, PT Daikin Applied Solutions Indonesia, and PT Daikin Manufacturing Indonesia), this collaborative effort serves as a way to connect amidst daily business operations, fostering mutual assistance and taking action to alleviate the PPE needs of healthcare heroes. Following previous visits in May to the COVID-19 Task Force and the National Center for Brain Surgery Hospital, Daikin Indonesia is now partnering with Benihbaik.com for this PPE distribution drive.
This initiative aligns with Daikin’s broader CSR commitments while marking the company’s 50-year presence in Indonesia. Daikin Indonesia selected the Benih Baik Indonesia Foundation (YBBI), led by Andy F. Noya, a well-known figure in journalism who frequently brings social issues to public attention through various media platforms. In addition to sharing a common vision, Benih Baik holds an official license from the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs. Daikin Indonesia is confident that the PPE donations distributed in collaboration with Benih Baik will reach the right recipients and accurately meet their needs.
