As part of its ongoing efforts to develop field technician skills, DAIKIN organized a specialized training program for trainers across its operational areas in Indonesia. The five-day session, which began on April 6, was conducted in-person at the DAIKIN National Training Center in Jakarta.
The training focused on two key aspects. First, it enhanced participants' knowledge of DAIKIN’s advanced control devices, including REIRI and Intelligence Touch Manager, covering their configuration and implementation. Additionally, attendees received updates on troubleshooting techniques, providing a more systematic approach to resolving issues across DAIKIN’s air conditioning solutions. The scope covered residential AC units, SkyAir, and VRV systems, with the latter being DAIKIN’s flagship solution for commercial building HVAC applications.
To ensure the training remains aligned with future needs, participants were also required to share real-world challenges encountered by field technicians. These knowledge-sharing sessions were facilitated through collaboration with the Technical Development team, designed to enrich trainers’ understanding and hands-on skills based on practical field experience.
Alongside similar initiatives, this training will continue to be implemented on an ongoing basis. This aligns with DAIKIN’s commitment to continuously upgrading trainer competency—from identifying skill gaps and enriching training materials to effectively transferring practical expertise to technicians. Ultimately, this ensures sustained improvements in end-user service quality.
