As part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing business partners' understanding of HVAC innovations, PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia (DAIKIN) held a Mini Seminar & Training for consultants and architects in Jember and surrounding areas. Held on February 4, the event not only introduced the latest HVAC equipment offering solutions for both residential and commercial spaces but also presented insights into ducted air conditioners designed to seamlessly integrate with and enhance building interior aesthetics.
For residential HVAC innovation, DAIKIN introduced the DAIKIN Nusantara Prestige AC series, featuring three models: ALPHA Inverter, BETA Inverter, and SMS. As DAIKIN’s first locally produced residential AC series in Indonesia, each model focuses on addressing local usage challenges. Beyond resilience against environmental fluctuations, the series incorporates various features designed to maximize comfort and support health.
For commercial buildings, DAIKIN presented VRV 6 as a modern, flexible, energy-efficient HVAC solution suitable for various building types. Regarding durability, the DAIKIN VRV 6 has obtained a corrosion resistance test certificate issued by the University of Indonesia.
During the same session, an overview of ducted air conditioner design was also presented. With its unique characteristic of concealing ductwork within ceiling voids, this presentation aimed to inspire participants to develop HVAC layouts that preserve the overall interior aesthetics of a building. The material covered fundamental design concepts, aesthetic advantages, and key technical considerations during the architectural design phase.
Through this knowledge update, DAIKIN hopes that consultants and architects will gain a deeper understanding and be inspired by the latest HVAC innovations, enabling them to provide top-tier recommendations for their respective projects.
