Spanning three days starting July 28, PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia hosted a specialized training session on Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) systems for educators at SMKN 1 Denpasar in Bali.
Attended by 18 participants comprising instructors from five vocational high schools and one university, the training aims to strengthen educators’ knowledge and practical skills in VRV installation and maintenance.
Over the course of the three days, participants not only received comprehensive theoretical modules on VRV technology but also had the opportunity to engage in hands-on exercises covering installation procedures, along with maintenance and repair scenarios. Key practical sessions included system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
This immersive learning experience was made possible by the fully equipped practical training facilities available at the Daikin Center of Excellence located within SMKN 1 Denpasar. As part of Daikin’s collaborative effort to advance vocational education standards, the Center of Excellence serves as both an instructional hub and a dedicated practical laboratory for students and instructors alike.
In addition to SMKN 1 Denpasar hosting the event, training participants were drawn from four nearby vocational schools: SMKN 3 Negara, SMK Rekayasa Denpasar, SMKN 1 Susut, and SMKN 1 Kuta Selatan. Educators from Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha also joined the program.
