JAKARTA – Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia actively supports the government’s efforts to enhance online-based tax administration. As part of this initiative, Daikin facilitates the digital socialization of the e-Bupot PPh Article 23/26 application, which was officially implemented by the government on September 1, 2020.
The socialization program is directed at relevant Daikin personnel and all external partners, including dealers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
E-Bupot is a digital tax application that enables taxpayers to submit proof of withholding income tax under Articles 23 and 26 (Bupot) to the Directorate General of Taxes.
This system serves as documented evidence of tax deductions applied to transactions meeting specific criteria under PPh Article 23 and/or Article 26. These deductions are calculated based on predefined standards, and proper documentation is required to ensure accountability and compliance with tax regulations.
The introduction of the e-Bupot application by the Directorate General of Taxes aims to streamline tax reporting for both Taxpayers and Tax Authorities. To maximize reach and ensure safety during the ongoing pandemic, Daikin conducts all e-Bupot education and socialization sessions online.
“We are conducting online socialization for the e-Bupot application to ensure that our understanding of this tool translates into tangible benefits and smoother operations for our business activities and stakeholders—quickly, easily, and safely,” stated Mr. Budi Mulia, Director of Finance and Other Services at PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia.
The online socialization session will be held on Friday, August 28, from 09:30 to 11:30 WIB. Spanning less than two hours, the session will cover the fundamentals, workflow, procedures, implementation guidelines, and step-by-step usage of the e-Bupot application. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session with the speaker. “We hope participants can absorb the key insights and practical benefits from this socialization and apply them to their daily business operations,” added Mr. Budi Mulia.
