JAKARTA – Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia supports the government’s efforts to modernize online tax administration. As part of this initiative, Daikin facilitates the digital rollout of the e-Bupot PPh Article 23/26 application, which was officially implemented by the government on September 1, 2020.
The socialization program targets relevant Daikin personnel and all external partners, including dealers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
E-Bupot is a digital tax application that allows taxpayers to submit proof of withholding income tax under Articles 23 and 26 (Bupot) directly to the Directorate General of Taxes.
Bupot serves as official documentation for tax deductions related to the implementation of PPh Article 23 and/or Article 26. These taxes involve deductions calculated at specific stages based on set criteria. Proper documentation is essential to ensure accountability and compliance with tax regulations.
The introduction of the e-Bupot application by the Directorate General of Taxes aims to streamline tax reporting for both taxpayers and tax authorities. To maximize reach, especially during the ongoing pandemic, Daikin conducts its e-Bupot education and socialization sessions entirely online.
“We are conducting this online socialization to ensure that our understanding of the e-Bupot application translates into tangible benefits, making our business operations and stakeholder activities faster, easier, and safer,” stated Mr. Budi Mulia, Director of Finance and Other Services at PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia.
The online socialization will take place on Friday, August 28, from 09:30 to 11:30 WIB. Spanning less than two hours, the session will cover the fundamentals, workflow, procedures, practical implementation, and step-by-step guidance for using the e-Bupot application. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session with the expert speaker. “We hope participants can fully grasp the key insights and apply the benefits of this socialization to their daily business operations,” added Mr. Budi Mulia.
