Daikin Bali Holds AC Cleaning Campaign at Interfaith Places of Worship

Bali, October 24 – PT. Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia (Daikin), through its Bali representative office, conducted an AC cleaning and maintenance campaign at various interfaith places of worship. Five places of worship in Bali, housing a total of 68 air conditioning units, were targeted for the "Comfortable Worship Together with Daikin" program, which commenced on October 18, 2022.

“Aligned with one of Daikin’s visions to provide comfort through our expertise in air conditioning solutions, we hope this program will enhance the worship experience for the Balinese community,” said Erick Sunjaya, Branch Manager for Daikin in Bali and surrounding areas. He noted that the program is open to all places of worship regardless of the AC brand installed.

The "Comfortable Worship Together with Daikin" initiative is a major pillar of Daikin’s social programs and serves as a nationwide agenda for the Japanese AC specialist. Throughout this year, Daikin aims to host the event in 13 regions, corresponding to its operational representative offices across Indonesia. To date, the company has successfully carried out the program in several Indonesian cities, including Batam, Yogyakarta, Manado, Palembang, Pekanbaru, and Semarang.

The five participating places of worship in Bali include the Catholic Church of Mary Mother of All Nations, Vihara Budhina Guna, Ibnu Batutah Grand Mosque, and the Protestant Christian Church of Bukit Doa, all located around South Kuta, as well as the Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia office in North Denpasar.

Elaborating further, Erick Sunjaya explained that for the Bali edition, Daikin partnered with two major associations representing HVAC practitioners and technicians in the region: the Indonesian Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technicians Association (ASISI) and the Indonesian Cooling and Air Conditioning Practitioners Association (APITU). “Through this activity, we also aim to maintain and foster harmonious collaboration among industry stakeholders, manufacturers, and associations, working together to take a greater role in serving the community,” added Erick Sunjaya.
