Bringing together 200 AC technicians in Yogyakarta, PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia shared the latest insights on technology, installation practices, and workplace safety within the HVAC sector. “Beyond fostering stronger relationships and education, this gathering serves as a collaborative platform between the company and technicians in our ongoing effort to uphold quality and professionalism standards while serving end-users,” stated Iwan Daniel, Branch Manager of DAIKIN for the Yogyakarta region and surrounding areas.

Featuring a lineup of expert speakers from DAIKIN’s technical staff, the event covered a wide range of topics. Key discussions included common installation challenges and their solutions, as well as workplace safety protocols encompassing the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety procedures.

During the same session, attendees received an in-depth presentation on the AC Nusantara Prestige. As DAIKIN’s first locally manufactured residential AC series in Indonesia, the presentation highlighted not only its diverse advantages tailored to address the specific cooling challenges faced by Indonesian households, but also showcased the advanced manufacturing processes that adhere to DAIKIN’s global standards under direct supervision from DAIKIN Japan.

In addition to freelance technicians and subcontractors, representatives from key HVAC industry associations also participated in the meeting. These included the Indonesian Association of Cooling and HVAC Practitioners (APITU), the Indonesian Refrigeration and HVAC Technicians Association (ASISI), and the Indonesian Refrigeration and HVAC Technicians Association (PTRTU). Attendees were not only from Yogyakarta but also traveled from the Surakarta (Solo) and Purwokerto regions.

“We highly appreciate the strong enthusiasm shown by the participating technicians. This event reflects DAIKIN’s tangible commitment to continuously elevating the skills and professionalism of our technician partners, ensuring they can deliver the best possible service to end-users,” concluded Iwan Daniel.
