PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia (DAIKIN) has announced its intensified marketing campaign for the Multi-Split AC. Targeted specifically as a cooling solution for modern family homes, the company is capitalizing on the continuously growing residential sector, which is further boosted by government stimulus programs.

“The introduction of this Multi-Split AC addresses two key challenges faced by modern families today: shrinking living spaces alongside rising electricity costs,” stated Alexander Eko Wibowo, Assistant General Manager at PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia. This highlights the unique operational advantages of the DAIKIN Multi-Split AC.

Unlike a Single-Split AC, where one indoor unit connects to a single outdoor unit, this DAIKIN Multi-Split category features one outdoor unit capable of powering multiple indoor units. Users enjoy extensive flexibility to operate them simultaneously or independently, with separate controls available for each installed indoor unit.

The system comes in two configurations based on the number of indoor units connected to a single outdoor unit: the 2-connection Multi-Split AC, which links one outdoor unit to two indoor units, and the 3-connection Multi-Split AC, designed to support up to three indoor units simultaneously. “Its compact installation requires only space for one outdoor unit, making it the perfect solution for modern housing needs,” added Alexander Eko.

He noted that most residential properties, especially in urban areas, have increasingly limited outdoor space. Meanwhile, interior layouts often require more than just a single AC unit to effectively cool all rooms.

Consequently, placing traditional outdoor units becomes impractical. For row houses that share walls directly with neighbors, green space is often sacrificed to accommodate equipment. In vertical housing or apartments, balconies intended for relaxation are frequently cluttered with AC outdoor units.

Furthermore, Alexander Eko Wibowo emphasized that besides saving space, the DAIKIN Multi-Split AC excels in energy efficiency. Built on advanced Inverter technology, this system also features a dedicated Low Watt operating mode.

As the name suggests, activating this feature allows the DAIKIN Inverter AC to run below its standard power requirements. Simply pressing a button on the remote control enables the Low Watt function, delivering up to 50% electricity savings compared to normal power consumption.

For the 2-indoor-unit configuration, total power consumption is only 380 Watts when both units run simultaneously. For the 3-indoor-unit configuration, maximum consumption reaches 800 Watts when all three units operate together.

This energy-efficient design was tailored specifically for Indonesian households, considering that most local homes are equipped with standard electrical capacities around 1,300 watts.

According to Alexander Eko Wibowo, this low-power operation provides users with greater flexibility in managing household electricity distribution. Activities such as laundry, ironing, watching TV in the living room, or relaxing in the bedroom can all be performed simultaneously. “Every family member can carry out their daily routines without compromising on comfort,” he concluded.

Alexander Eko Wibowo further revealed that DAIKIN has prepared a comprehensive promotional program to support the launch of the Multi-Split AC. Alongside aggressive marketing across various channels, DAIKIN is hosting a special offer for the Multi-Split AC running for two months starting early November.

During this period, DAIKIN has set special pricing for interested buyers, particularly for the 2-connection Multi-Split AC. To ensure easy access, this promotion is available through authorized electronic retail networks as well as leading e-commerce platforms in Indonesia.

“We want to ensure that more people can easily take advantage of this special offer,” said Alexander Eko Wibowo. For detailed information on the promotion, customers can visit the official DAIKIN website at www.daikin.co.id or follow DAIKIN Indonesia’s official social media accounts.
