JAKARTA (DAIKIN) - Japanese air conditioning manufacturer PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia has launched the 8th cohort of its Fresh Graduate Development Program (FGDP). Spanning 36 days, the training series delivers intensive onboarding and foundational preparation for newly recruited staff across various divisions.

The initiative aims to prepare new hires to fully grasp their respective roles and functions within their assigned divisions, while deepening their understanding of Daikin’s vision, mission, core business processes, and philosophical values. Delivered through both online and face-to-face formats, the program also focuses on expanding participants' knowledge base and accelerating their transition into the professional workforce.

Throughout the program, participants engage in role-specific on-the-job training, structured across weighted segments including classroom orientation, departmental orientation, product knowledge, and hands-on field exposure. The curriculum concludes with presentation preparation and simulations based on the acquired training modules. Consistent with health protocols during the pandemic, all activities adhered to strict safety measures, with final presentations conducted virtually before Daikin’s executive leadership.

Through this intensive training and development framework, the 8th cohort is expected to gain more than just theoretical insights into Daikin’s operations. Participants will acquire practical experience in applying technical skills, enhancing interpersonal communication, leveraging individual strengths and potential, and effectively preparing to tackle daily operational challenges.
