DAIKIN’s ongoing efforts to collaborate with the government to enhance vocational education quality in Indonesia continue to advance. Most recently, on March 7, the company officially inaugurated the DAIKIN Center of Excellence at SMKN 1 Denpasar, Bali.
This Center of Excellence occupies a dedicated space specifically designed for HVAC instruction. Aligned with its goal of facilitating hands-on learning, the 142-square-meter room features neatly arranged racks equipped with various DAIKIN air conditioning units. Beyond residential AC systems, the facility also includes specially designed racks for commercial building air conditioning units.
Beyond providing a fully equipped facility, DAIKIN ensures maximum utility for student and teacher competency development through comprehensive training programs and competency assessments. These include scheduled guest lectures by DAIKIN experts throughout the year, curriculum enrichment initiatives, and industry-standard certification testing.
While establishing DAIKIN Centers of Excellence in vocational schools is not new for the company, this inauguration holds special significance as the first Center of Excellence located outside of Java.
Looking ahead, driven by the same mission to elevate the skills of refrigeration and HVAC professionals nationwide, DAIKIN remains committed to expanding similar Centers of Excellence across various regions in Indonesia.
