The online event organized by Daikin's Tax Department proceeded smoothly and was highly successful. Held on Friday, August 28, 2020, the session concluded promptly at 11:30 AM WIB as scheduled, following a collaboration between Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia and LPP Purnawarman. Kicking off at 09:30 AM WIB, the program drew over 500 attendees, including business partners, dealers, subcontractors, and key stakeholders from across various regions. The initiative was specifically tailored for Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia’s ecosystem.
The online socialization of e-Bupot garnered a strong response. Beyond the impressive turnout, numerous participants actively engaged during the Q&A segment. “The questions raised regarding e-Bupot during the session were diverse, making it one of the most effective learning moments and helping us gauge the audience’s comprehension,” stated Mr. Cakra Chandra, Tax Manager. This initiative aims to familiarize participants with the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) e-Bupot system for PPh Article 23/26, offering a comprehensive overview of its online features and workflows.
For two consecutive years since 2018, Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia has been recognized by the local Tax Office with an award for its steadfast commitment to compliant and efficient tax administration. “While the pandemic certainly presents challenges, our priority remains supporting the government’s dual objectives: curbing virus transmission and sustaining economic activity. He further emphasized that leveraging online technology brings significant advantages. “Beyond saving time, the e-Bupot platform allows real-time access from anywhere, ensuring both convenience and data security. Participants can rest assured that all submitted deduction records are securely archived within the official Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) system.”
