As part of the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting the education sector and cultivating future HVAC experts in Indonesia, PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia (DAIKIN) organized a specialized training program for vocational high school (SMK) teachers at its Semarang representative office.
Held over three days beginning on April 22, the initiative provided comprehensive technical training for SMK educators across Central Java, with a dedicated focus on commercial air conditioning systems.
The curriculum was delivered in a structured, progressive format. It covered fundamental knowledge of various product portfolios, including VRV systems, which serve as DAIKIN’s flagship solution for commercial building climate control. Sessions also included detailed guidance on installation procedures and routine maintenance for commercial units.
Participation was not restricted to existing partners. While the program prioritized teachers from SMKs already engaged through the DAIKIN Center of Excellence network, it remained fully open to educators from other secondary schools and higher education institutions that have not yet established a partnership with DAIKIN.
Through this program, DAIKIN aims to significantly expand educators’ expertise in advanced HVAC solutions. These insights will subsequently be integrated into academic curricula, empowering students with the technical foundation required to become highly competent HVAC professionals in the future.
