Last August, DAIKIN conducted educational sessions for vocational school students across Indonesia. Coinciding with the start of the new academic year, this initiative was designed to impart fundamental knowledge about the intricacies of the HVAC solutions industry to incoming students majoring in related technical fields.
Specifically tailored for vocational schools that have established collaborations with DAIKIN, the goal is to equip these students with essential foundational knowledge as they pursue their studies to become specialists in refrigeration and air conditioning engineering. As part of this ongoing partnership, DAIKIN has also developed a structured training curriculum that will be rolled out progressively according to the students' evolving knowledge levels.
Prioritizing flexibility, the instructional sessions primarily aimed at new vocational students were conducted entirely online. The courses were led by DAIKIN’s certified instructors, recognized experts from the Daikin National Training Center located in Jakarta.
The training was delivered in a serialized format, with each session focusing on distinct themes. Topics covered ranged from basic introductions to HVAC solutions and core technical fundamentals, to foundational troubleshooting techniques addressing common issues with air conditioning (AC) equipment and their respective solutions.
DAIKIN’s serious commitment to this educational initiative received a highly positive response from collaborating vocational institutions. Throughout the program, a total of 638 students actively participated as attendees.
