The presence of installers, including technicians, plays a crucial role throughout the entire lifecycle of air conditioning (AC) units. Their involvement extends beyond initial installation to ongoing maintenance and repairs.

This is equally true for freelance installers. Regardless of their employment status, they play a significant role amid growing and expanding demands, driven by the continuous rise in AC demand and the high level of public trust in this profession.

Recognizing this, DAIKIN continues to build strong relationships with freelance installers, complementing the company’s efforts to reinforce its position as the leading AC brand in Indonesia. These initiatives run simultaneously, reaching various regions surrounding DAIKIN’s operational branches across Indonesia.

This was demonstrated at DAIKIN’s branch in Batam, one of its key locations in Indonesia. On April 17, we hosted a networking session with 50 freelance AC installers from Batam and its surrounding areas.

DAIKIN’s commitment to this event was evident through the direct attendance of Danny Chandra, Head of Branch for the Batam region, alongside local DAIKIN management who warmly welcomed the 50 participating installers. Representatives from official DAIKIN dealers were also present at the gathering.

Beyond fostering stronger connections, the event added value by providing installers with valuable insights into the latest developments within the HVAC solutions industry.

The event also introduced the DAIKIN Aircon Utility Business (AUB) division. AUB is a specialized business unit designed to supply a wide range of supporting products for HVAC systems, aimed at maintaining and enhancing the performance of connected AC units. AUB offerings include a selection of high-quality piping, insulation materials, filters, refrigerants, and other essential tools recommended by DAIKIN to support installer operations.

Despite a packed schedule, the event remained highly engaging for attendees. It featured entertaining segments and friendly competitions to keep the atmosphere lively. Furthermore, taking place during the holy month of Ramadan, the gathering concluded with a communal iftar meal.
