Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value (MERV) is a filter rating system developed by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) as a globally accepted standard for AC filter performance. The higher the MERV rating, the more effective it is at filtering harmful airborne particles.
- PM2.5 Particle Filtration
Capable of capturing fine airborne particles with an effectiveness rate of 97% for particles sized 1.0 – 3.0 µm, and up to 99% for particles sized 3.0 – 10 µm.
- Lower Maintenance Costs
The MERV8 prefilter keeps AC internal components cleaner, making maintenance easier. Filter replacement is only required twice a year. Investment cost is approximately Rp 2,800/day.
FILTER PERFORMANCE TEST
When the AC unit operates, indoor air continuously passes through this filter. This allows the unit to capture more health-hazardous particles. Over 97% of particles sized 1.0 – 3.0 µm, including PM2.5, are captured after the air circulates through the filter 10 times.
