Represented by its Samarinda branch, PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia (DAIKIN) hosted a Mini Seminar for Consultants in Balikpapan. Held in mid-November, the event was attended by 20 consultants from various planning firms and engineering consultancies in Balikpapan and surrounding areas.
This activity was designed as a communication platform and educational resource for consultants regarding company developments and DAIKIN’s latest air conditioning solutions for both residential and commercial buildings. Beyond products, DAIKIN also presented its Aircon Utility Business (AUB), a business line dedicated to AC performance-enhancing accessories and maintenance services.
For the residential product line, DAIKIN showcased the AC Nusantara Prestige. Engineered specifically to address the challenges of AC usage in Indonesia, this series marks DAIKIN’s first locally manufactured residential AC unit, reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting domestic industrial growth. With a Domestic Component Level (TKDN) exceeding 40%, it further supports DAIKIN’s contributions to construction projects across Indonesia.
Transitioning to commercial building solutions, DAIKIN introduced the VRV 6 series. As the sixth generation, DAIKIN’s flagship air handling system offers enhanced efficiency, installation flexibility, and higher reliability. Key standout features include the VRT Smart II Control, which optimizes energy consumption, and the gecko-proof PCB box—a feature that drew significant attention from attendees due to its relevance in tropical operating conditions.
During the session on Aircon Utility Business (AUB), participants received comprehensive insights into the full range of AUB products alongside various maintenance services. The presentation covered everything from product selection and design planning to long-term maintenance aspects.
Designed to foster stronger professional relationships, interaction was enhanced through an interactive Q&A session and a series of prize-winning fun games. All elements were carefully arranged to create a warm and engaging seminar atmosphere.
