PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia has officially secured the Local Content Level (TKDN) certificate for its products. This certification underscores DAIKIN’s commitment to continuing its strategic synergy with the Indonesian government to support national development.
Alongside this achievement, holding the TKDN certificate provides DAIKIN’s business partners with greater flexibility in meeting their clients’ requirements. This is particularly important given that certain HVAC solution projects mandate the inclusion of a TKDN certificate for compliance.
Leveraging its domestic manufacturing facilities under PT Daikin Manufacturing Indonesia, DAIKIN is continuously expanding its product portfolio to secure additional TKDN certifications. This effort focuses primarily on commercial HVAC solutions. Notably, at the end of last year, DAIKIN already registered 13 new products to further broaden its lineup of TKDN-certified offerings.
Furthermore, the construction of DAIKIN’s new manufacturing plant in Indonesia, scheduled to commence operations by late 2024, will significantly expand the range of TKDN-certified products. This expansion will cover not only commercial applications but also residential use. The new facility will specifically serve as the production hub for Daikin Inverter AC units tailored for the home market.
