PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia (DAIKIN) has once again held its 'Roda-Roda Ramadan' campaign. As one of the annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives for this Japanese air conditioning solutions provider, donations totaling IDR 1.25 billion were distributed simultaneously across 17 regions in Indonesia on April 1.

“Standing tall, growing, and becoming an integral part of Indonesian society also carries DAIKIN’s responsibility to contribute more to community welfare,” stated Ching Khim Huat, President Director of PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia. He noted that this aligns with DAIKIN’s vision across all its global operations. “As we advance our mission to become a trusted provider of air conditioning solutions, we are equally committed to ensuring that DAIKIN delivers a positive impact within the Indonesian community,” he added.

Marking its third consecutive year, this annual social initiative has seen continuous improvements in each iteration. Enhancements include increased donation volumes, expanded beneficiary categories, and broader geographic coverage, which have grown alongside the expansion of DAIKIN’s regional business offices across Indonesia.

For this year’s Roda-Roda Ramadan, the IDR 1.25 billion in donations was allocated into essential food packages, school supplies for children, and assistive devices for persons with disabilities. Partnering with the reputable social foundation Benihbaik.com, the distribution reached 17 regions across Indonesia, corresponding to DAIKIN’s operational hubs in each area, spanning Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Bali, and Sulawesi.

Beyond the substantial donation amount, a standout aspect of the campaign was the active participation of DAIKIN representatives. Involving not only company employees and top management, DAIKIN also invited its dealer partners to join the initiative.

Their involvement ranged from packing aid packages at respective DAIKIN branch offices to personally delivering donations to beneficiaries at each distribution site. “Through this nationwide social campaign, we also aim to foster empathy and solidarity among all employees and business partners, uniting them as one large DAIKIN family in Indonesia,” Ching Khim Huat reiterated.

He further emphasized DAIKIN’s ongoing commitment to expanding various community-focused activities in the future. Alongside the annual Roda-Roda Ramadan campaign, the company is preparing additional initiatives specifically targeting education and environmental sustainability.
