  • AC does not cool or heat the room well.

Check the following before calling for repair. Are the temperature and operating mode set correctly by the remote controller? Is the quantity and direction of air properly controlled? Is the air filter clean? Is the area directly under or next to the air conditioner obstructed by furniture or other objects? Are the windows and doors closed? Has the ventilation fan stopped?

  • Warm air does not flow immediately after starting the heating operation.

This is not a malfunction of the air conditioner. AC is heating up. Please wait about 3 minutes

  • AC is not operating. (Operation light is off.)

Check the following before calling for repair. Is the breaker blown or the fuse blown? Is the power plug connected to the wall outlet? Is there a power outage? Do the batteries in the remote controller need to be replaced? Is the timer set correctly?

  • AC is not operating. (Operation light flashes)

Unplug the power cord or turn off the circuit breaker. Wait about 1 minute, then turn on the power. If the operation lamp flashes, contact the place of purchase.

  • The ON/OFF button on the main unit or remote controller does not work.

Stop operation, unplug the power cord or turn off the circuit breaker, and contact the place of purchase.

  • The air conditioner does not operate immediately when the unit is turned on during or after the filter cleaning operation.

The air filter returns to its normal position. Please wait about 3 minutes.

  • The air conditioner does not operate immediately when operation is restarted immediately after stopping, or the operating mode has changed.

This is not a malfunction of the air conditioner. This is to protect the air conditioner. Please wait about 3 minutes.

  • The air conditioner does not operate immediately when dry operation or cooling is activated.

When dry or cooling operation is activated with the automatic fan speed setting set to ON, SMELL PROOF operation starts and removes stagnant odors from the indoor unit before the air is expelled. Therefore, the unit does not release air immediately after the operation is started. Please wait about 30 to 40 seconds.

  • Operation stopped unexpectedly. (Operation lamp lights up.)

This is not a malfunction of the air conditioner. When the voltage fluctuates greatly, the operation may stop to protect the air conditioner. The operation restarts automatically in about 3 minutes.

  • The unit turns on and off repeatedly. (Operation lamp lights up.)

When the room temperature reaches the set temperature, the air conditioner operates in wind mode to prevent overcooling or heating. When the room temperature decreases or increases from the set temperature, the wind mode is canceled and the airflow volume increases. When the room temperature is stable and remains close to the set temperature, the airflow volume can increase and decrease repeatedly.

  • Operation stops unexpectedly when the timer is set in the ON state.

This is not a malfunction of the air conditioner. When the timer is set ON, operation starts up to 1 hour before the set time to reach the setpoint. If the remote controller is operated during this time, the operation automatically stops. Restart operation using the remote controller.

  • Operation stopped unexpectedly. (The operation lamp on the main unit flashes.)

Check the following before calling for repair. Is the air filter clean? Otherwise, clean the air filter and restart operation using the remote controller. If the operation lamp is still flashing, unplug the power plug from the wall outlet or turn off the breaker and contact the place of purchase. Is there anything blocking the air inlet or outlet of the indoor/outdoor unit? Delete any objects and restart the operation using the remote controller.

  • The heating operation stopped unexpectedly, and the sound of running water was heard.

This is not a malfunction of the AC. This system operates by defrosting the outdoor unit. Please wait about 3 to 10 minutes.

  • The air conditioner operation stops suddenly, and the filter cleaning operation starts.

(Then, the operation of the air conditioner is restarted.) When the automatic filter cleaning setting is ON (default), the operation of the air conditioner stops after 24 hours of operation of the air conditioner (cooling mode, dehumidifying mode, heating mode, air purification mode, or ventilation mode) to activate the cleaning operation automatic filters. After the cleaning operation is completed, the air conditioning operation is resumed.

  • The filter cleaning operation does not stop.

The air filter returns to its normal position. Please wait about 1 to 3 minutes.

  • The air conditioner continues to operate even when the dehumidifying, dry cooling, or refrigeration operation is turned off.

Check if the print proof auto setting is set to ON. If the setting is ON, the mold proof operation is activated after the dehumidifying, dry cooling, or cooling operation stops.

  • The indoor unit produces abnormal sound during operation.

Stop operation, unplug the power cord or turn off the circuit breaker, and contact the place of purchase.

  • A clicking sound is generated.

A clicking sound may be produced when the coolant control valve or electrical component is operating.

  • A buzzing sound is generated.

A buzzing sound may be produced when the AC fins move.
