Daikin Indonesia Holds Fun Ride to Commemorate 50th Anniversary

JAKARTA (Daikin) - Air conditioning manufacturer from Japan, Daikin Indonesia, held the Daikin Fun Ride cycling activity with partners, staff and employees and the community in the BSD area, Saturday (29/5).
Through this activity, Daikin hopes to popularize healthy sports activities, especially cycling, to the Indonesian people to maintain body immunity during the current pandemic.
The event, which was held in the series of Daikin Indonesia's 50th anniversary, was attended by around 100 Fun Ride cyclists covering a distance of 25 km, while the Fun Competition covered a distance of 50 km.
"Through this activity, we want our partners and employees to participate in celebrating Daikin's birthday with healthy activities during the current pandemic," said Wenky Handono, Assistant General Manager of Daikin Indonesia who is also the chairman of the Daikin Bicycle Community, in a written statement, Tuesday (1/01). 6).
The 50 km Fun Competition was won by Christopher (CV. ABC Technical Service) as the first winner, William Jayadi Phan (Desco AC Solutions) and Vicky Vendi (PT Sinar Jaya Indonesia Electronic) as the second and third winners.
In this event, Daikin applies health protocols (prokes) strictly to the participants of the Fun Ride and Fun Competition, as well as the committee. Participants from outside the city underwent a rapid antigen test, participants from Jakarta applied strict procedures. At the event location, the committee checks body temperature, participants wear masks, and maintain social distance during the event which lasts until 11.00 WIB. In addition, the safety team on guard with the escort, evacuation, and community teams ensured the safety and smooth running of the event until it was finished.

Tentang Roda-Roda Ramadan sebagai inisiatif sosial berkelanjutan dari perusahaan, penyelenggaraannya terhitung menjadi tahun ke-enam sejak program ini mulai bergulir. Dalam pelaksanaannya, beragam donasi dengan berbagai cakupan daerah distribusi dilakukan untuk menyentuh komunitas masyarakat yang membutuhkan dukungan. Penyelenggaraan tahun ini yang salahsatunya mengambil tempat di desa Pasirranji, Cikarang Pusat, pun tak lepas dari pertimbangan lokasinya yang berdekatan dengan pabrik AC hunian DAIKIN di Indonesia.
